Hi, this is a message for Mike Skinner of the Streets.
I'm Dean Scott, I'm a novelist. I'm writing a big historical fiction epic with my agent in NY, and I'd like to use a Streets quote (from Turn the Page) as my intro quote (the page at the start on its own). It's a book set in 45BCE about big ginger Scots barbarians fighting back the Romans, by the way. It’s finished (170,000words) and it’s about to go out to publishers, I’m happy to let you read it, naturally.
I know this may seem a somewhat random email, but I'm quite serious, dude. Get in touch if you're interested in this, and I'll give you my thinking (possibly in great, very great, mind-numbingly great detail)
Writing this, I’m tempting to add a battle scene where my Barbarian hero Cal saves the day by roaring out eh almighty command to his army, ‘Go low!’—ha ha.
Cheers fir noo, man

Failure. Juggernauts Ft Mike Skinner? Juggernauts isn't featuring anyone, only Enter Shakari.
Nice to see you're still as fake as your videos.
Posted by: Instrumental | Saturday, 30 May 2009 at 03:56 PM
Yeah Skinner isn't on any Enter Shikari tracks, or the band hasnt said so at least, and that bit on Juggernatus sounds like Rou Reynolds, so methinks this is a lie by little Mikey.

Thank you for making a very informative website with a lot of good advices. I think a key point is to make potential customers aware of the fact that marketing by the Internet is one of the most profitable ways to sell products and services to day. To many the new technical world with Google as the big brother is difficult to comprehensive, but whether they like it or not, facts cannot be escaped. In order to convince them you need proof and the best to present is your own website. It must meet all the expectations you promise your clients and you know as well as I do that it is fairly easy to come up with dreams and wishful thinking but sooner or later reality will show its face. So the next questions pops up, do we/I have the qualifications needed to produce a profitable website or in case I do not have all, do I have a network to back me up? Today where the budgets are being cut it must be the state of art to deliver quality at an affordable price and I think it is a difficult game to play. A website today must be beneficial to all parties involved since references and link building plays a very important role. More than ever the highest degree of integrity and ethics is in demand.

Brixton Acadmey was the worst live performance i have ever seen in my life! My Australian friend asked if Mike Skinner was black as the only talent on stage as the black guy. I got the tickets for my husbands birthday and it was the worst money i have ever spent. It was such a shame as we took 2 days off work as well.....effing bollox

Mike Skinner.
This is my tribute to you, Michael. You're the greatest poet and philosopher I've witnessed the work of in my little frame of time. I salute thee, skinner!
It's strange how alike we are. Or perhaps this is exactly the feeling everybody who listens to your music has.
Cheers man, following you on twitter, of course.

Thank's God there are still people like Mike Skinner here. So lively, full of nice ideas and so inspiring.
People like him gives me a lot.
It can give you great lightness of living when you can live surrounded by people like Mike. The artist full of energy, who wants to make people's lives better.
Btw. I've seen this photograph that You, Mike took in Poland and added here. And believe me, Poland can be nicer than you had show here ;) I hope you've seen that. Cracov is beautiful.
Take care about yourself :)
